HODLOTEK is an up-cycled watch brand from the future, established by Nubo Paratek in 2185 in Vallée de Joux, a formerly pictoresk village located in the Swiss alpes.
The tides of time.
In this post-luxury and post-physical future, people spend their lifes in the metaverse only. Nubo, a twenty-six year old society drop-out, refuses to surrender the physical world.
On his lonely rambles through the abandoned watch manufacturing sites in the long forgotten epicenter of fine watchmaking, he collects the remains of luxury watches created in the golden era of horology. With self-taught manufacturing skills, Nubo started creating Frankenstein watches in his underground workshop and used time crystals to give birth to HODLOTEK.
His mission is to send HODLOTEK watches in the form of NFTs through time to predestined people – which he believes to be hodlers in the early NFT era - to create a community of like-minded Hodlogists to uphold manual craftmanship, which will otherwise be extinct in the near future.
To help Nubo on his mission, we the HODLOTEK team, organise a community to talk watches for the Hodlogists and everyone else. The collection of 9,999 unique NFTs is made to survive on the Ethereum blockchain.

From the 9,999 unique watches in different rarity levels, an ultra-rare limited number will be crafted fully manually, some of which will have unique features straight out of Nubo’s future world.
Similar to the now existing physical watch market, there will be further easter eggs hidden in the NFTs; undetectable by rarity trackers to be explored and discussed by the community.

HODLOTEK is focused on the aesthetics and aims for perfection in the details. We will not rush to launch a half-hearted project that lacks quality. The mint date will be announced as soon as the project meets our high standards on the aesthetics as well as the technical side and is planned to take place in the first quarter of 2022.

Currently, we are working on the rarity levels as well as the graphic’s details. Check the weekly rarity reveal to stay in the loop and get a glimpse at Nubo’s future up-cycling masterpieces.
On the technical side, we are working on the smart contracts, which will be audited by a third party auditor to ensure that everything runs smoothly and as intended while being optimized for the lowest gas fees possible.
On the legal side, the HODLOTEK NFTs will come with a full-fledged IP-license to employ not only the IP associated with the NFTs but also the HODLOTEK logo to develop, market and sell everything you want, be it your own merchandise, physical watches, or whatever you can imagine. The license will be referred to directly in the Tokens so that it cannot be unilaterally limited in the future.

As the NFTs will come with a full-fledged non-restricted IP-license, we very much hope to see Hodlogists’ merchandise and maybe even physical watches by Hodlogists, too.

We also believe that a HODLOTEK would look pretty damn cool on your wrist with some AR goggles. We’re not sure yet on how the technology will evolve but have an eye on the development of a HODLOTEK AR watch to be airdropped to Hodlogists.
